Getting through the Weeks

So...school.  Each day I get closer to finishing I'm thinking more and more about the wilderness.  With each project, paper, test etc. due each week I find myself biting my lips, closing my eyes, and jumping in hopes that school will fade away and I'll land on a mountain top with my academic education behind me.  I'm so close, And very excited...

Hello all,

My name is Rebecca Anne, and I am a novice to blogging and all things to do with technology really... But I am a big fan of sharing thoughts, inspiration and art, and technology is a great way to share. I am finishing up school in March getting my degree in Metals and Jewelry from the Savannah Collage of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. Savannah is a far cry from my hometown of Santa Cruz, CA, but I love how the South is dripping with history and inspiration. I have always loved travel, and I have been fortunate enough to do a lot all over the globe. My travel is influenced by my pull to nature, especially the Mountains (having been in Savannah for about three years this pull has grown exponentially).  Finishing collage is something that I have been looking forward to for a long, long time.  I've wanted to just escape into the wilderness. Most days I find myself gazing out of the studio windows wishing I was climbing, or running wild, with out projects due or others' deadlines to meet. I understand my obligation to society, and paying of loans etc., but I am setting forth on a journey to see how far I can go in search of simple happiness.  Climbing, creating, traveling and loving.
