My work has a simple aesthetic, and is mostly influenced by nature. It becomes an outlet for my constant pull towards the maintains or the ocean. When I am unable to escape into the wilderness I find that my art helps to soothe my restlessness. I try to use / re-use sustainable materials whenever possible, and I am always conscientious of my processes. I was educated at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Metals, but my love of materials doesn't stop there. I also paint, play with fibers, wood, found objects, whatever I can get my hands on really. My art is a way of moving forward for me, always exploring, experimenting, and pushing what I know...
